A NEW shop selling locally produced sweet and baked goods is set to open in soon in a Herefordshire town.
Cakes, Bakes and Makes will be operating out of the former Age UK unit in West Street, Leominster.
The team behind the shop specialise in chocolate making, baking and cake decorating and is aiming to provide locals with a large selection of freshly baked cakes, pies, cheesecakes and chocolates. There will also be pop-up stalls made available for other local producers.

One of the co-founders, Sharon Barrell, operates Sharon’s Cake Shop which has amassed almost three thousand followers on Facebook. She is known for producing elaborately decorated cakes, often featuring characters from popular culture.
Ms Barrel said: “I like the craft aspect, the decorating, the baking not so much so now I’ve got somebody else to do that for me.”
The premises is currently being fitted with a new kitchen and shop, replacing the previous office.
Whilst there are no definite plans yet, the team are aiming to open the shop in early December.
