HEREFORD'S Christmas lights will be switched on next weekend - and it's been confirmed who will be performing the duties.
The Mayor of Hereford, Councillor Jacqui Carwardine, and Father Christmas will be switching them on at 5pm on Sunday, November 19.

The entertainment begins at 3pm with live performances from newly reformed band Let Loose (consisting of Jeffrey, Murray and former Bad Boys Inc singer Matthew James), X Factor winner Matt Terry, Hereford Soul Choir, One Vision Talent School and Hereford’s Finn McGowen.
There will also be appearances by the cast of the Courtyard Theatre pantomime Dick Whittington.
The entertainment will be rounded off with the Vengaboyz Experience following the switch on of the lights. The afternoon is being organised by Hereford City Council, Sunshine Radio and Outstanding Education.
