A MAN has been rescued from the river Wye in Hereford after emergency crews were called to his aid.
A fire service spokesperson said crews were called to a rescue from water at Hereford's Victoria Bridge just before 6pm on November 13.
A man in his 40s was rescued from the bank side by fire service personnel and handed over to the care of the ambulance service
The fire service boat crew from Hereford joined three Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crews, two from Hereford and one from Leominster Fire Stations, and the water first responders from Leominster and the service drone from Ledbury in the rescue.
They were supported by a Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service boat crew from Hay-on-Wye.
