A BODY has been found in the search for a man reported missing in October.
A search was launched for Christopher Jiggins after he disappeared from Church Stretton, over the border in Shropshire
He was last seen at 7pm on Sunday, October 29 outside the Family Shopper in the town, with police embarking on a country-wide search for him.
The 56-year-old, who was last seen wearing camouflage clothing, shorts and books was known for wearing a hessian cape.
West Mercia Police has now confirmed that a body was found on November 15 in a woodland near Church Stretton following searches for Jiggsy.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but it is believed to be that of 56-year-old Christopher Jiggins, a police spokesperson said.
