A TRUCK driver caught out on his phone while behind the wheel in a busy Hereford city street has been banned from the roads.
Andrew Michael Lupino entered a guilty plea to one count of using a handheld mobile phone or device while driving a motor vehicle when he appeared before magistrates in Worcester in November.

The court heard from the prosecutor that the 53-year-old had been caught using a hand-held mobile phone while behind the wheel of a MAN truck in Hereford's Whitecross Road on March 20.
Lupino, of Newtown Court, Malvern, was fined £120, received six penalty points, and was disqualified from driving for 12 months due to repeat offending, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea to the charge into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £110 and a £48 victim surcharge.
