AN intruder broke into Hereford railway station yesterday (November 19).
The ticket office was temporarily closed following the incident, with a window of the front entrance door smashed.
The window has since been boarded up, with the station now running as normal.
A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "Police were called to Hereford railway station on Sunday after reports of a concern for welfare for a man who had broken into the station.
"Officers and paramedics attended and the man was taken to a place of safety."
