AN AUDI driver caught drink-driving in a Herefordshire town has been banned from the roads.
Hui Jian Lin entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when appearing before magistrates in Hereford in November.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 43-year-old had been caught out in Ross-on-Wye after getting behind the wheel of an Audi while over the drink-driving limit on September 3.

An evidential breath test revealed that Lin, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor George Cousins, had 50 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
Lin, of Brookend Street, Ross-on-Wye, was disqualified from driving for 14 months and fined £230 for the offence, with magistrates saying that they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
Lin must also pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £92 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
