A SOAP star is in Hereford today (November 24) for a special visit.
Sean Wilson, who starred in Coronation Street as Martin Platt, was at AC Booksellers in Rotherwas, Hereford, signing 100 copies of his new cookery book Jazz Food. He will also be going to Labels in Ross-on-Wye.
Watch Sean talk about his appearance in Hereford today here.
He told the Hereford Times: "I'm in Hereford because I have this rather fetching little number, my new book Jazz Food, and our publisher's business is here in Hereford. 100 books have been signed.
"I've been allowed to spread my wings and illustrate the book with 20 of my paintings and maybe 10 of my jazz poems that I've written, 44 recipes, and we have maybe eight different playlists."

The book features QR codes to the Spotify playlists Sean has curated, meaning readers can play the recommended tracks while cooking the recipes.
Rachel Cooke, the publisher and director of the booksellers, said: "Many people in Herefordshire will remember Sean's character in Coronation Street, and I think this is a great place to have his book published."
Sean is best known for his Coronation Street character Martin Platt, but has more recently become a cheesemaker and cook.
The new book was inspired by his love of food and jazz music.
