A HEREFORD pensioner has been handed a restraining order after he abused his neighbour.
Stephen Jones, aged 75, of Mansbridge Avenue, was abusive towards Andrew Chapman after pulling up outside his flat in a moped on April 20. He swore at Mr Chapman and made a minor threat.
Prosecuting solicitor, Mark Hambling said Mr Chapman has become upset and anxious after the incident, and 'is put on notice' by any slight noise in the evening.

Jones pleaded guilty to two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour that is likely to cause harassment, alarm or distress.
In defence, Ed Middleton said there has been a long-standing dispute between both parties.
"He [Jones] has assisted the court," said Mr Middleton.
"Mr Jones regrets that he allowed himself to lower his standards of behaviour."
Jones was handed a two-year restraining order prohibiting him from contacting Mr Chapman in any way. He was also given a two-year conditional discharge and told to pay court costs of £135 and a victim surcharge of £26 respectively.
