A housing provider plans to build three houses in place of a row of garages in Hereford.
Connexus has applied for outline planning permission for the three on a quarter-acre site at Usk Close south of Belmont Road, alongside the Great Western Way.
Its application says the garages, which it appears to own, are currently “underused and misused”.

The two three-bedroom semi-detached and one two-bedroom detached houses would be for market sale rather than rental, it adds.
A cycleway runs across the garage forecourt at Usk Close to the Great Western Way to the south of the triangular site, while a footpath leads to Stanberrow Road.
Herefordshire Council transferred its housing stock to Connexus in 2001, when it was known as Herefordshire Housing Ltd.
