TWO men, both aged 20, have been arrested in Hereford on suspicion of supplying drugs and carrying offensive weapons.
They were arrested today (November 30) in Widemarsh Street and found carrying drugs.
The men attempted to escape, and police sustained injuries. Several weapons were recovered.

Detective Sergent James Moore said: “Firstly, I would like to thank the public who supported our officers whilst they attempted to arrest the two men. I appreciate it may have been alarming to some people and please be rest assured this was an isolated incident.
“Drugs ruin lives with the consequences far-reaching and we will not hesitate to disrupt the criminal behaviour of those suspected of being involved”.
Both men are now in police custody.
