NANDO'S is an absolute classic when it comes to grabbing a bite to eat in Hereford's Old Market.
Recently the restaurant released new menu items for winter, and I was invited by the Hereford branch's manager to go and try them. Here's what I thought.
Smoky garlic churrasco burger
First up, Nando's smoky garlic churrasco burger included flame-grilled chicken, salad and churrasco "Perinaise" in a garlic bread bun.
I love Nando's garlic bread so thought it was a great idea for them to incorporate the popular side dish into a new burger. It was tasty and complimented nicely by the "Perinaise".
Leafy green salad
The menu had a new side option of a leafy green salad, and I can honestly say that this made the perfect addition to my main meal.
I was pleased to see a lighter option on the menu, and I thought the portion size was good with a nice flavour to the dressing and toasted seeds.
Peri mac and cheese
To be honest, I was the most excited to try the peri mac and cheese out of all the new menu items.
And with a delicious spicy kick, I would say this is a dream for all macaroni cheese fans. I would definitely get it again.

Chocolate pud
I finished off with a chocolate pudding - a warm, soft and fluffy sponge with chocolate fondant in the middle. It also came with ice cream and orange curd.
It was sweet and rich with the orange adding a sharpness, and made for a lovely end to the meal.
