THERE are plenty of pubs in Herefordshire - but the Bush Inn is uniquely famous for its "picnic benches".
Last weekend (December 2) I visited the pub to try the new festive picnic bench, which is available over the Christmas season.
Joining me was my boyfriend Ryan, who loves all things festive so was just as excited as I was.
The bench included mouth-watering options like a turkey wrap, a basket of seasoned wedges, brie with cranberry jam, and homemade pigs in blankets. It also included desserts like chocolate orange cheesecake, mini mince pies, millionaires shortbread, candy cane cake pops, gingerbread, Christmas tree brownies, plus soft drinks and mulled wine.
It was displayed beautifully, with the sweet and savoury options looking and smelling delicious.
The portion size of the savoury options was good, but I just couldn't manage the desserts afterwards. This wasn't a problem though, as it meant I could bring them home and save them.
The indoor seating area was modern and trendy, with flowers decorating the walls. The pub is known for its "Instagrammable" backdrops and I have to admit I followed the crowds and put a picture on my own Instagram feed - it would be rude not to.
The staff were friendly and offered a brilliant service with a smile.

The benches need to be booked in advance, which you can do by going to the pub's website.
I thoroughly enjoyed the festive bench and I would recommend visiting the pub, which is near Canon Pyon, of an afternoon to treat yourself to one.
Our benches were complimentary, with us just paying for our own drinks, but usually they cost £24 per person.
