CHILDREN at Hereford County Hospital were treated to a dose of laughter when the dame and other cast from this year's Courtyard Theatre pantomime made a festive visit.
Dame Penny Drops was accompanied to the children's ward by other cast members from the 2023 production of Dick Whittington on December 5. They even got to design their own ceiling tile for the hospital.
Dion Davies, who plays the dame, said: "Visiting the hospital was one of the highlights of the panto.
"Being able to sing, laugh and smile with some of the poorly children, and in fact the nurses of the County Hospital, was utterly magical.
