FLOOD alerts are in force for rivers across Herefordshire this morning, including the river Wye in Hereford.

River Wye
Flooding is expected to affect low lying land and roads along the Wye from Hay-on-Wye to Ross-on-Wye. Other locations that may be affected include the A438, Byford, Bredwardine and Hereford.
The river was predicted to peak at 3.0m to 3.3m overnight at the Old Bridge in Hereford overnight, but is currently at 3.620m and still slowly rising, according to river level monitoring data.
The Environment Agency predicted it would peak at Mordiford at 3.5m to 3.9m on Wednesday morning, and Ross on Wye at 3.4m to 3.8m on Wednesday evening.

River Lugg
Flooding expected to affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the Lugg north of Leominster. Locations that may be affected include Yarpole, Mortimers Cross, Kingsland and the B4362.
Flooding expected to affect low-lying land and roads adjacent to the Lugg south of Leominster from Stoke Prior to Mordiford. Other locations that may be affected include Bodenham, Lugwardine and Hampton Bishop.

River Leadon
Flooding expected to affect low lying land and roads adjacent to the Leadon. Locations that may be affected include Ledbury, Much Marcle, Staunton and Tibberton. Water may be out of bank at Upleadon Court. Flooding of properties is not forecast at this point.

River Frome
Flooding expected to affect low-lying land and roads along the Frome from Bromyard to Hereford. Other locations that may be affected include Bishops Frome and Yarkhill.
River Arrow
Flooding expected to affect low-lying land and roads along the Arrow from Michaelchurch to Brierley. Other areas that may be affected include Kington, Staunton and Eardisland.
