A HEREFORDSHIRE road will be closed for nearly two months.
Brookend Street, in Ross-on-Wye, will be shut from January 2 for 53 days due to mains renewal and replacement works taking place.
The closure will be from the junction of Millpond Street to the junction with Station Street, near Aldi.
The alternative route for anyone affected by the works is via Millpond Street onto Station Street.

Other lengthy road closures in the county will also start on the same day.
Little Marcle Road, from the junction with New Street to the junction with Lowe Road, will be shut for four weeks to allow for drainage works to take place. The alternative route around the closure will be via Little Marcle Road onto Leadon Way and New Street.
Drainage work will also be happening on the C1019 at Pipe Aston, near Wigmore for 16 days from January 2.
The alternative route is via Killhorse Lane onto the B4361 and Woodhouse Lane.
