WHAT is happening to Hereford and what has become of any protection that we all expect from the police, environmental health officers, and parking wardens, to name but a few of these maladroit officers?
Commercial Street has an off-licence advertising vapes and alcohol opposite McDonald’s, where many of the city’s youths hang out, coupled with a gambling casino advertising to the same extent directly at these impressionable young minds.

This leads me to ask what has become of our central conservation area? To liken it to the lights of Vegas might be pushing it, but come on!

This is getting out of hand, with takeaways, barber shops and more off-licences all competing with ever bigger and brighter lighting signs. Then add in the delivery drivers all running into and out of takeaways leaving their engines running. Not a traffic cop to be seen. Engines running no matter who cares. Even the taxis sit there with their diesel engines running waiting for the next punter.
I totally despair. Unless we make some effort to control this dystopian nightmare society is going to break down to anarchy.
