IF Jonathan Roger (Letters, December 7) has any good evidence that 20mph zones will lower street pollution could he please send it to transport ministers?

When asked in the House of Lords to cite some, they have been unable to do so.
Is it not likelier that 20mph zones have more to do with raising revenue from speeding tickets, making money for consultants (as per the December 1 front page) and the desire of officialdom to boss us all about?
