A HEREFORDSHIRE business has been fined thousands of pounds after failing to turn up to court.
HCD Ltd was found guilty in its absence of three counts of failing to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle when required to magistrates in December.
The company had not entered a plea to any of the charges ahead of the hearing and was not present at the hearing.

The court heard from prosecutor Andy Saunders that the Herefordshire-based company had failed to give information relating to the driver of a Porsche who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence to police in Droitwich on three separate occasions.
The offences took place on May 17, September 21, and October 3, magistrates in Worcester were told.
HCD Ltd, of Haywood Industrial Estate in Wellington, Herefordshire, was fined £1,000 for each offence.
It was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £110 and a £1,200 victim surcharge.
