A CAR caught fire this morning (December 15) - the second such incident in the Holmer area of Hereford in the space of 24 hours.
The fire service were called to Holmer Road shortly after 9.15am.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said half of the hatchback caught fire and was removed to safety.

Two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hose reel jet then extinguished the blaze.
Police were also called to help with traffic management.
It was the second car fire to happen in Holmer this week.
Just yesterday (December 14), a 4x4 was alight near the Cotswold MINI dealership in Roman Road.
Firefighters again used hose reel jets to tackle the fire.
No one was injured in either incident.
