A NEW unisex hairdresser has opened its doors in a Herefordshire town.
‘Cutting Edge’ will be serving locals from a premises in Chapel Walk, Burgess Street, Leominster.
Founder Kate Knight is an experienced hairdresser, having owned a business since she was 21 years old and recently having run the Cutting Shed in the nearby Buttercross arcade.
After taking a hiatus following the COVID-19 pandemic, Ms Knight has set up this new venture as she said she sensed that there was a need for a simple and affordable barbers in the town.
She was also keen to emphasise that she would be providing an accessible service open to people with disabilities, including children with autism and ADHD as well as adults with learning disabilities.

She hoped that the location would attract significant footfall from shoppers, library visitors and the central area car park.
Cutting Edge will open 4pm to 8pm on Thursdays, 10am to 4pm on Fridays, 8am to 12pm on Saturdays and 10am to 2pm on Sundays.
“Our opening times are a bit different, we’re not complying with the norm,” said Ms Knight.
“I’d like to welcome old and new customers so they can get an affordable haircut in a relaxed atmosphere.”
