A VW driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught drug-driving in Herefordshire.
Daniel Taylor entered a guilty plea to one count of drug driving when he appeared before magistrates in Kidderminster in December.
The court heard from prosecutor Tom Wickstead that the 23-year-old defendant had been caught out on Hereford's Aylestone Hill after getting behind the wheel of a Volkswagen Golf while over the drug-driving limit on April 25.

An evidential blood test revealed that he had 3.2 microgrammes of controlled class B drug cannabis product delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood at the time. The legal limit is two microgrammes.
Taylor, of Munderfield Harold, Bromyard, was handed a 12-month obligatory driving disqualification and fined £400 for the offence, with magistrates saying that they had taken his guilty plea to the charge into account when coming to their decision on the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £160 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
