A MAN has been arrested after a house fire in a Herefordshire town.
The fire was at John Abel Close in Leominster. Police say they were called shortly before 4.15am on Saturday (December 16).
Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service (HWFRS), meanwhile, sent one crew a few minutes later.

A HWFRS spokesperson said the fire involved items of clothing.
"The fire had been extinguished before the arrival of the fire service," said the spokesperson.
"Police were also in attendance. The incident was marked as pending closure at 4.41am."
