AMBULANCE and fire crews were called to a house fire near Hereford on Saturday (December 16).
The fire, which involved cooking, had been extinguished by the time emergency services arrived, but the fire service used a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots after the incident.

A fire service spokesperson said: "A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Hereford Fire Station was called at 11.33am on December 16 to a fire with persons reported in Holme Lacy. Natural ventilation was used and a thermal imaging camera was deployed to check for hot spots.
"The incident was marked as pending closure at 12.24pm. There were no casualties although an ambulance attended. "
An ambulance was called to the property but no patients required treatment and the service was stood down.
