A DRUG-driver has been handed an interim roads ban after entering guilty pleas to three charges.
Luke Smith entered a guilty plea to two counts of driving while over the drug limit and one count of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence when he appeared before magistrates in December.
The court heard from prosecutor Mark Hambling that the 33-year-old had been caught out on the A4112 in Kimbolton, Herefordshire, after getting behind the wheel of a Vauxhall Astra while over the drug-driving limit on May 9.

An evidential blood test revealed that he had 86 microgrammes of controlled class A drug cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine and 4.7 microgrammes of controlled class B drug cannabis product delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol per litre of blood. The legal limits are 50 and two microgrammes.
He was also found to be driving without a licence entitling him to drive the vehicle, magistrates in Hereford were told.
The case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by the probation service and Smith, of Wheeler Orchard, Tenbury Wells, was released on unconditional bail with an interim driving ban.
He will appear before magistrates in Hereford for sentencing on January 1.
