HEREFORDSHIRE'S New Year bin collection dates have been revealed, with changes ahead for plenty of households.
With many bins overflowing after Christmas, none of us want to miss our bin collection day, but some will be waiting longer than usual for their waste to be taken away.
This year, as with previous years, bins due to be collected on New Year's Day, will be collected on another date.
When will my bin be collected?
Replacement dates for bin collections are as follows:
Monday, January 1 (New Year's Day): bins will be collected on Saturday, January 6.
All other collections remain the same during the festive period.
Please ensure bins are put out by 6.30am as collections may be earlier than usual over the New Year holiday period.
When will the tip be open?
All Herefordshire household waste and recycling centres are closed on New Year's Day.
They will be open as usual throughout the rest of the festive period.
It remains a requirement to pre-book your slot at the tip before arriving.
