SEVERAL cars have been seen trying to drive through floodwater in Hereford — despite numerous road closed signs.
Holme Lacy Road in Hereford is one of many roads in the county closed today (January 3) due to flooding.
When Hereford Times journalists were at the scene, we saw several cars drive past the road closed signs and into the water.
Two vehicles, including a Blue Line taxi, were stranded, although it is unclear whether they had driven onto the road before or after it was closed off. However, as these vehicles were being rescued from the flood, more cars continued to drive through.
This video shows the moment a Zzoomm van drove through flood water in Holme Lacy Road.

Storm Henk has brought chaos to Herefordshire this week, with eight flood warnings put in place by the Environment Agency.
These include the river Arrow at Eardisland, river Lugg at Bodenham, river Teme at Leintwardine and Walford, and river Wye in north Hereford, south Hereford, from Hay to Hereford and from Hereford to Ross.
Herefordshire Council's advice to drivers is: "Please do not drive through floodwater and please don't ignore any road closure signs as roads will only reopen when they have passed a safety inspection."
