A MAN caught in a dumper truck taken in Herefordshire without consent has been banned from the roads.
Jordan Hoskins entered a guilty plea to one count of being carried in a motor vehicle taken without the owner's consent when he appeared before magistrates in January.
The court heard from prosecutor Tom Wickstead that the 23-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor George Cousins, had allowed himself to be carried in a vehicle that had been taken without the consent of the owner or other lawful authority in Ledbury on October 11.

The vehicle was a front-loading dumper truck, magistrates in Hereford were told.
Hoskins, of Biddulph Way, Ledbury, was handed a five-month disqualification from driving and fined £250 for the offence, with magistrates saying that they had taken his guilty plea to the charge into account when imposing the penalty.
He was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £100 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
