THERE will be lengthy closures in some parts of the county from next month.
National Grid will be carrying out cabling work in Colwall from February 5.
According to Herefordshire Council, the work will be in The Crescent and Crescent Road, and will take up to three months to complete.
The authority says that diversion routes for each closure will be signposted locally.
Meanwhile, the B4224 will be shut for 15 days from February 10 for resurfacing work.

The closure will be from Fiddlers Green to the Moors in Fownhope.
The alternative route for anyone affected is via the A449, then onto the A4172 and the A438, and vice versa.
Elsewhere, there will be a two-week closure in Lyonshall from February 12.
This will be in place on the C1031 from the A480 to Cabal Lane, near the junction with the A44. This is due to the reinstatement of defected repair works.
The alternative route will be via the B4362 and onto the A4110 and A44.
