AN AUDI driver caught out while more than three times the drug limit has been banned from the roads.

Joel Hunt entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the drug limit when he appeared before magistrates in January.

The court heard from prosecutor Sarah Hurd that the 34-year-old had been caught out on the A465 Aylestone Hill in Hereford after getting behind the wheel of an Audi A5 while over the drug-driving limit on April 16.

Hunt, of Astwood Lane in Wychbold, Droitwich, was fined £525 and disqualified from driving for 12 months for the offence, with magistrates in Hereford saying that they had taken his guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
