TWO Hereford roads will be closed for up to five days next month.
Friars Street and Old Eign Hill will both be shut on February 12 for five and four days respectively.
The former will be closed from Barton Road to Whitecross Road, with no alternative route. It is due to remedial works and the likelihood of danger to life while the works are taking place.

It is the second time a matter of months that Friars Street will have been closed.
From January 1 to 5, it was shut due to sewage repair work taking place outside Lexden Court. On that occasion, there was an alternative route.
Following the work taking place, Hereford Times reader David Joyce wrote a letter, asking why so many people were needed to carry it out.
Meanwhile, new gas supply work is the reason why Old Eign Hill will be closed.
The alternative route for anyone affected by the proposal is via Hafod Road, Ledbury Road, Church Road and Hampton Dene Road before rejoining Old Eign Hill.
If you have any queries relating to either of the works, call 01432 261800 or use the online form to contact Herefordshire Council at herefordshire.gov.uk/contactus
