FIREFIGHTERS spent seven hours at a Herefordshire pub after smoke was issuing out of it.
A cordon was placed around the Crown & Sceptre at the junction of Market Place and Broad Street in Ross-on-Wye, with a ladder used to tackle the incident.
A spokesperson for Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said crews from Worcester, Upton and Ross were sent just after 7.10pm last night (January 22) to a smoke-issuing incident in Market Place.
A hose reel jet, an aerial ladder platform and thermal imaging cameras were used.
The spokesperson added that crews left the scene shortly before 2.25am this morning. (January 23).
