A DRINK-driver caught out while almost three times the limit has been ordered to undergo alcohol treatment.
Gaynor Smith entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the alcohol limit when she appeared before magistrates in Hereford in January.
The court heard from prosecutor Lauren Millichip that the 63-year-old, who was represented at the hearing by defence solicitor George Cousins, had been caught out on the A465 Belmont Road in Hereford after getting behind the wheel of a Ford Focus while over the drink-driving limit on December 22.

An evidential breath test revealed that Smith had 99 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, almost three times the legal limit of 35 microgrammes.
Smith, of Waterfield Road, Hereford, was handed a 12-month community order and must complete a three-month alcohol treatment programme, fined £134, and disqualified from driving for 24 months, with magistrates saying they had taken her guilty plea into account when imposing the penalty.
She was also ordered to pay prosecution costs of £135 and a £114 victim surcharge.
