A prominent Hereford car showroom has been given permission to knock down three outbuildings.

This was in order to “prepare the site for the next phase of development” – for which a separate planning application “will submitted shortly”, the Welsh-based firm said.
Planning officer Joshua Evans said the proposal met rules governing so-called permitted development, which does not require full planning permission.
“The method of demolition and restoration of the site have been appropriately explained and justified to the satisfaction of the local planning authority,” he said.
