A HEREFORDSHIRE town has received national praise for its Christmas market.
The Ross-on-Wye Christmas Fayre has been recognised at the Great British Market Awards 2024, taking home the 'highly commended' award for best large speciality market at the awards ceremony which took place in Birmingham on January 25.
This was the first time the event, organised by Ross-on-Wye Town Council, had been
nominated and was up against several large markets from around the UK.
Ross-on-Wye Town Council’s community development officer, Charlotte Reynolds and
Councillor Daniel Lister both attended the event to collect the award.
