POLICE have arrested a man at a Herefordshire pub, on suspicion of possession of a knife and assaulting a police officer.
The man was arrested at the Eagle Inn in Ross-on-Wye on Wednesday night (January 24).

A statement from West Mercia Police said: "We received a call around 10pm on Wednesday, January 24, with a report of a man with a knife at the Eagle Inn in Broad Street in Ross-on-Wye.
"Officers attended the public house and one man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article and on suspicion of assaulting an officer."
The Eagle Inn is owned by Stonegate, which has been approached for comment on the incident.
