A MOTORCYCLIST was taken to hospital after being involved in a crash at a busy Herefordshire roundabout.
Emergency services were called to Preston Cross, near Ledbury, shortly before 5pm yesterday (January 29). The roundabout links the A449 to the A4172 and B4215 on the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire border.
A spokesperson for Gloucestershire Constabulary said: "We were called to the A449 Preston Cross shortly before 5pm yesterday following reports of a single vehicle collision.
"It was reported that a motorcyclist had left the road, sustaining leg injuries.

"The motorcyclist was assessed by paramedics and taken to hospital for treatment."
A spokesperson for South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) added: "We were called at 5.34pm on Monday, January 29 to a road traffic incident at Preston Cross near Ledbury.
"We sent one double-crewed ambulance was sent to the scene and conveyed one patient to Gloucester Royal Hospital."
It was reported that the A4172 was temporarily closed towards Trumpet.
