The police spokesperson said all occupants of the car were uninjured in the crash, but the driver was arrested for driving without insurance, drug-driving, and possession of class A drugs.
If convicted for drug-driving the driver will face a mandatory minimum roads ban of 12 months, or 36 months if it is a second offence, while the insurance offence usually carries points and a fine.
