SHOPPERS in Hereford will be treated to an afternoon and evening of free parking this month.
On Saturday, February 10, parking will be free in all council-owned car parks and on-street pay and display spaces from noon. This includes the Maylord Orchards car park and Old Market car park but excludes Friars Street car park.

This comes as part of 'Love Hereford' day, an event set to bring in locals to celebrate love, as well as the city as a whole, in the lead-up to Valentine's Day, with live street music, a chocolate trail and more.
Councillor Barry Durkin, Cabinet member for roads and regulatory services, said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer this afternoon and evening of free parking in Hereford this Valentine’s weekend.
"We want to make sure Hereford remains a vibrant and attractive city for residents and visitors, and this day of free parking will be an added incentive for people to get into Hereford and support our local traders and entertainment providers.”
