A DRINK-DRIVER failed to turn up to court after being charged with the offence.
Darren Squire entered guilty pleas for both drink-driving and failing to answer to court in Hereford when he later appeared before magistrates in Doncaster on January 16.
The court heard the 51-year-old had been caught behind the wheel of a Toyota on the M50 while over the drink-drive limit on November 7 last year.

An evidential breath test showed he had 61 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The limit is 35.
He had also failed to turn up at Hereford Magistrates' Court on December 13 after being released on bail by police.
Squire, of Plantation Close in Askern, Doncaster, has not yet been sentenced and will next appear in court in Doncaster on March 19 after a pre-sentence report has been prepared.
