I AM writing in support of Andrew Riga’s letter to the Hereford Times (February 1) listing the recent, and proposed, spending of public money by Herefordshire Council.
This finance is obtained from the residents of Herefordshire, we have no choice whether or not we contribute to the money pot, if you stay, you pay.
What are your thoughts?

Letters should not exceed 250 words and local issues take precedence.
I for one, object to my already taxed income, being spent on frivolous objects, which are of no use to the residents of Herefordshire at all. It begs the question, does the council meet to decide what is the next total waste of money they can drum up?
Our roads are a disgrace, we are assured that the problem is being addressed, it is not! What is going on?
I do have to ask if this council could be accused of misuse of public funds?
