ABANDONED cars have been towed after they were dumped in one Herefordshire town.
The cars, a Citroen and an Audi, were both found to have no tax when checked, a spokesperson for West Mercia Police's Bromyard Safer Neighbourhood Team said.
The first of the cars, a 2015-plate Audi left in a parking space near the town's Kempson Players playing field, had been visited by the council "some time ago", according to PC Lowri Jones.

The council had placed a 'council aware' sticker on it at the time, but had not been back, PC Jones said.
PC Jones said she had been made aware of the abandoned car at a regular 'Coffee with a copper' session in the town on February 15, and that the car was towed on the same day.
The second car had been left in a lane off the B4214, just past the town's rugby club, and has also been towed, PC Jones said.
