A HONDA driver from Hereford has been ordered to pay hundreds of pounds after she was caught driving without due care and attention in Herefordshire.

Billie-Jo Harrison-Binley pleaded guilty to one count of using a mechanically-propelled vehicle on a road or in a public place without due care and attention.

The court heard that the 24-year-old had been caught out behind the wheel of a Honda Civic in Lower Eggleton on June 30 last year.

Harrison-Binley, of Hinton Crescent, Hereford, was fined £200 and received seven penalty points on her driving licence for the offence, when she was sentenced at Worcester Justice Centre on February 14.

She was ordered to pay prosecution costs of £110 and an £80 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
