A SEX offender has been given a community order after three sex assaults in Hereford.
Mihaita Lemnaru appeared before magistrates in Hereford this month for sentencing after he pleaded guilty to three counts of sexual assault on a female at an earlier court hearing.
The court heard from the prosecutor Melanie Winterflood that the 36-year-old had sexually touched a woman aged 16 or over when she did not consent in Hereford on three occasions between December 2023 and January 2024.

Lemnaru pleaded guilty on January 9 at Hereford Magistrates' Court, and the case was adjourned for a pre-sentencing report to be carried out by probation officers.
Lemnaru, of Hunderton Avenue, Hereford, has now been handed a 12-month order and must complete 120 hours of unpaid work.
He was also ordered to pay compensation of £250, prosecution costs of £185, and a £95 victim surcharge, which is used to help fund services supporting victims of crime.
