DOUBLE yellow lines have been called for in a busy street in one Herefordshire town amid concerns about problem parking.
Complaints were made about parking in various spots across Leominster to the town council's planning and highways committee.
Minutes from a recent meeting reveal that councillors were told that parking outside The Quarters pub, formerly The Ducker, in the town's South Street, is causing problems for traffic trying to get past, with a suggestion that the owners of the pub were given parking advisory notices to put on the parked vehicles.

Concerns were also raised about the potential impact of traffic that the South Street Morrisons Daily, in the Martin's shop, will have.
"Vehicles will be able to park outside, when there are no time restrictions, as the road is only marked with a single yellow line," the minutes said.
Parking is restricted in the street from 8am to 6pm Monday to Saturday.
The minutes said a traffic regulation order would be needed to install double yellow lines in the street.
Further issues were reported in Pinsley Road, with one local raising their concerns about parking on the corner of the street. The ward councillor has written to Herefordshire Council about the issue, the minutes said.
