A HEREFORD man has appeared in court for harassing a woman despite an active restraining order that he was given when he was convicted of making a threat to kill.
Joseph Holland contacted the woman three times using email, a relative's phone, and another relative's old Facebook account, despite an order made by Hereford Magistrates' Court banning him from doing so, said prosecutor Charlotte Morgan.
The breach took place on February 2.
The 38-year-old was sentenced for the breach of the restraining order at Kidderminster Magistrates' Court on February 19 after entering guilty pleas for all three counts of harassment he was charged with.

Holland, of Vernon Williams Close, was represented at the hearing by Paul Stanley.
He was handed a suspended sentence of 24 weeks, suspended for 18 months, with magistrates saying they had taken his guilty plea into account.
He must also pay prosecution costs of £185.
The restraining order was originally made at Hereford Magistrates' Court on July 4 last year.
He was given the order after making a threat to kill a woman.
