POLICE officers are investigating reports of a burglary at a much-loved garage near Hereford.
The break-in allegedly happened at Lock's Garage on the A465 in Allensmore, Herefordshire.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "Enquiries are currently ongoing following a report of burglary at the Lock's Garage in Allensmore, Herefordshire, around 5.15am on Friday (February 16)."
Lock's Garage has previously been well-known for its huge soft serve ice creams that cost only £1, although these are no longer sold at the shop.
The garage continues to sell fuel, groceries including fresh local produce, plants, animal feed and more, as well as having newsagent and post office services. It also has a car wash.

The garage remains popular, although many customers are still hoping for a return of the famous ice creams.
The shop at the garage is open from 5am to 10pm, seven days a week.
Lock's Garage has been approached for comment on the burglary.
