Two people were taken to hospital, the spokesperson confirmed.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said three ambulances and two paramedic officers were sent to the crash.
"The driver of the first car, a woman, was treated for potentially serious injuries and conveyed to Hereford County Hospital for further treatment," the spokesperson said.
"A man, the driver of the second car, was treated for injuries not thought to be serious and taken to the same hospital for further treatment."
A fire service spokesperson said that crews helped get one person out of their car, but another person was out of their vehicle by members of the public.
