A FORD driver has been banned from the roads after he was caught drink-driving in a Herefordshire street on New Years' Day.
Kevin Davies entered a guilty plea to one count of driving while over the limit when he appeared before magistrates in Hereford this month.
The court heard from the prosecutor that the 41-year-old had been caught out in Burgess Street in Leominster after getting behind the wheel of a purple Ford Fiesta while over the limit on New Years' Day.

An evidential breath test revealed that he had 89 microgrammes (mg) of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 mg.
Davies, who is currently in the care of probation services in Barnstaple, Devon, was disqualified from driving for 22 months. Magistrates took his guilty plea into account when coming to their decision on his penalty.
He was also ordered to pay a fine of £120 and prosecution costs of £135.
