Update: A man was seriously hurt after being knocked over by the car.
A DRIVER has been arrested after hitting a person in a Herefordshire village.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene in Credenhill after receiving reports of a crash involving a pedestrian in the village.
PCSO Adam Westlake said one person has been arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving after the February 24 crash.
Police and paramedics were on scene, PCSO Westlake confirmed.
"This is a reminder of the dangers of driving under the influence and the potential consequences it can have," PCSO Westlake said.
"We urge everyone to always prioritise safety on the roads, whether you're a pedestrian or a driver."
